The single most important thing we can do for our children is to prepare them for the future. This includes academic preparation, physical preparation, social preparation and most importantly, spiritual preparation. Ultimately this preparation is the responsibility of parents, however, Calvary Christian School seeks to come alongside parents and support them in this endeavor. Our mission is “Equipping the Next Generation to Impact the World for Christ.”
I, personally, am not a Calvary Christian School graduate. However, my wife Melody is a 1985 graduate and our son, Joseph, is a 2008 graduate. I have seen, first hand, how this atmosphere, the faculty, the classes and friends can mold a person. Much of who my wife and son are today is due to this school. Recently I received an e-mail from a new high school parent, this is what she had to say about their decision to come to Calvary:
“My husband and I are so happy about the decision we made to transfer him after Christmas break, and as [our son] returns home each day, his account of the day confirms our decision yet again. The experiences [our son] has had at CCS during the last four weeks have been so positive, from the extra attention his teachers have provided to assist him in the transition, to the Spirit Week activities held last week, and daily, through the Christ-centered classroom environments.”
Calvary Christian School is not perfect, but I believe you will find these same thoughts reflected in our school families.
I am always proud of our students and graduates as I see them interact with society, culture and the world around them. I encourage you to give us a try. Schedule a visit and see if Calvary Christian School is the right fit and your family.
