daily activities
At the preschool level, the curriculum seeks to meet developmentally appropriate practices for three, four and five year olds. The Bible lesson and verse begin each day and the schedule continues with specific circle time, learning centers, direct-teaching, large motor and story time. Students who attend on Wednesdays will have chapel twice every month.

Running learning centers
Various learning centers are throughout the preschool classroom. Students will be exposed to Art, Library, Math, Science, STEM, Dramatic Play, Blocks & Building, Letters & Writing.
Book Open circle time
Students learn so much through circle time! They will hear Bible stories, pray, enjoy story time and LEARN during their circle time. We use ABC Jesus Loves Me and Beginner's Bible in K3 and Purposeful Design and Beginner's Bible in K4.
Cloud with Sun outdoor time
We enjoy letting our students explore God's beautiful creations outside! Whether it's recess & free play, reading on a blanket, or participating in a science experiment, we love getting outdoors!

Cross spiritual
Students have opportunities to identify biblical characters, biblical lessons, be introduced to missions, understand the importance of prayer and understand the love that Jesus has for them and the world.
Music aesthetics
Students have opportunities to increase their familiarity with varying forms of art and music, use tools and techniques related to art, music, movement and dramatic play to achieve a desired aesthetic effect.
Line Chart affective development
Students have opportunities to learn that school is safe, predictable, interesting and enjoyable. They also learn to engage in affectionate relationships beyond the family, independently begin and pursue a task and gain awareness of emotions.
User cognition
Students have the opportunity to attend particular sensory stimuli while ignoring extraneous stimuli, develop finer degrees of sensory acuity, coordinate their use of senses and learn about the natural world.
Book Reader language
Students will develop receptive and expressive language skills through a variety of ways including Bible & story time, nursery rhymes, library, puppets, dramatic play, and show & tell!
Dumbbell physical
Students will engage in fine and gross motor activities both indoor and outdoor throughout our time together. We spend large amounts of our day: building, coloring, cutting, moving, scribbling, painting, drawing, printing, completing puzzles, running, climbing, swinging, jumping and more!
Child social development
Students will actively engage in activities that promote social development and build self confidence at their own pace. Our program provides time for large, small, and individual learning opportunities. Students will begin to build friendships, understand the feelings of others, develop conflict resolutions skills, practice turn taking and sharing.
Glasses pretend play
Students learn through play and will engage in various forms of pretend play in every Learning Center throughout our classrooms. Whether pretending to be a loving family member in the Home Living area, a creative engineer at the STEM center, or a Scientist at the sensory table, each student will have the opportunity to engage and learn through play each and every day!

As one of the leading early education programs in the area, CCS delivers a variety of instructional methods each day. While the routine of the day includes many things such as pledges, prayer, exercise, circle time, outdoor time, and many other sections to the day, the end goal is always in mind: to prepare your child to excel in their upcoming kindergarten and elementary years. Teachers provide daily opportunities that allow the preschool age child to be successful today and in the future.
